Do you offer touch-ups right before or after the ceremony?

The hair and makeup is expected to last the entire day and night. Touch ups can be book in advance based on availability. Pricing for touch ups is based on a per hour rate. The time starts after all initial services are completed.

Do you recommend the bride goes last?

We highly recommend that the bride gets her hair and makeup done in the middle of the getting ready process. Touch ups will be done at the end, before the team departs.

How can I book services for my wedding day?

To hold the date, we require a $50 deposit and a signed contract. Once we have your contract and process your $50 deposit, then your services will officially be booked with Hair and Makeup I Do.

How long does the getting ready process take on wedding day?

Our team typically takes around 3.5- 4 hours total for the getting ready process.

Is it absolutely essential to have a trial done before booking my services?

The trial is not required for booking your services. Doing a trial is at your discretion, but is highly recommended to get an idea of what your bridal look will be for wedding day.

What does the trial include?

The trial includes one bridal hairstyle and one bridal makeup look. You can bring pictures of different hairstyles/makeup looks you like and your stylist will consult with you as to which one she thinks will work best for you based on your hair, face shape, dress and other details about your wedding.

Where can I purchase clip in extensions?

When buying hair extensions to use for your bridal hairstyle, be sure to buy only human hair, clip in hair extensions. You can purchase them at Sally Beauty Supply. A sales associate will help you pick out the matching color and length. You can also buy them online at www.bellamihair.com.

Can I remove or add service from the contract?

The client is financially responsible for all services on the contract. Services may not be removed from the contract once signed and deposit has been processed. Services can be added to the contract at any time, time allowing. Once the services have been added to the total, the contract will be adjusted accordingly.

Do you have minimum for booking?

The minimum for booking on location services Monday through Thursday with Hair and Makeup I Do is a total package of $450 or more.

Friday, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays or Holiday Weekends require a minimum total package of $750 or more.

Weddings in Miami/Dade county and north of West Palm Beach will require a minimum of $1,000 total package or more.

The minimum is based on wedding day services, not including the trial, parking and travel fees.

How should we prepare for hairstyling services on wedding day?

For best results on wedding day, it is recommended to wash your hair the night before the wedding. If you are concerned about your hair getting too oily, don’t worry, we have dry shampoo spray that will absorb the oils.

For hair that is curly/wavy/frizzy, please have it blown out with a round brush until smooth.

For hair that is extremely curly, you may use a flat iron the day before the wedding but DO NOT use a flat iron on wedding day. This will make it difficult to put curls back into the hair.

What is the best form of payment?

We only accept payment/s on the day of the event. Payment/s must be made by cash or credit card only. American Express not accepted.

What is the main different between traditional makeup and airbrush makeup?

Traditional and airbrush makeup are both great for bridal and professional photography. Both are long lasting and will make you look flawless. The main difference is whether your skin is dry or oily and if you need a little or a lot of coverage. Typically, the airbrush is better for oily skin types and for maximum coverage. If you have normal to dry skin and need light to medium coverage, the traditional makeup would work best.

Once you meet with your stylists for the trial, she will consult with you and recommend the foundation that will be best for your skin type.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Once a deposit is given, the $50 non- refundable deposit will not be returned. In order to cancel your services on wedding day, we require a signed cancellation form. The cancellation form must be complete prior to 60 days of wedding date. If the bride fails to complete this form correctly and on time, the card provided in the contract will be charged a cancellation fee of $450, regardless if services are rendered.
